Hello all,

Having trudged the Internet with no success H & H is my final hope!

My husband and I live near Cirencester (East) and we're looking let a property that includes a paddock (3 acres) and stables (not essential). There is a few big places available, but the cost is too expensive (2K per month). We're just happy hackers.

Does anyone know of anywhere that is coming onto the market soon or know of something that would be suitable?

At a minimum, we'd like to let a small yard and some land.

If anyone knows of anything, it'd be great to hear from you.

Thanks,

SY

Unfortunatly you are after the holy grail! They are rare and (as you've found) v pricey!!
We are looking in the same area, no joy so far.
There is a place just gone up a little further south with smiths gore, it's £1800 but includes a 15 stable yard, school and plenty of land as well as a 1 bed furnished flat.

Hi,

I didn't think it would be this difficult! We are aware of the place you mentioned, but a little too pricey :)

Are you also after a place, or just the land?

Thanks,

SY

We're after somewhere to live as we'll rent our place out, with some land attached (2 or 3 bed with about 3 or 4 acres - you wouldn't have thought it was so hard!!!). Like you that place is just too much. It is also far more land and stables than we need so just not worth paying the extra for something we wouldn't use. Not allowed to use it for any business either so no chance of getting an extra income from it to make it pay either.
If you are just after the land, Bathurst Estate have paddocks all over that they advertise on their website. Up until v recently that had some for rent in Siddinton. http://www.cirencesterpark.co.uk/index.php?mpl=12

Thanks guys,

Tallyho - I think I know which one you mean...it may be a bit far out, but where abouts is it just in case we havent spotted it?

ThePony- thanks, we have a couple of retired ponys that live out and that may be an option for us.

The search continues!

Good luck house hunting and thanks for your help!
