Pain and under the weather after first jab?

Our GSP pup Wilbur went to the vets this evening for his first jab. He is very upset this evening, hobbling around, crying and seemingly in a lot of pain. Google seems to offer people with similar experiences, but wanted to check is this normal? He is a bit of a big girl's blouse!

Yes, my sister's dog was very sore after his injections. We gave the vet a ring for advice. Hope you little one is okay!
