Yesterday I was jumping my 5 yr old all was going well and we were really jumping nicely, then my OH put up a 1m15 fence which is a touch outside my confidence zone atm.
Needless to say I didnt ride as confidently as I should, she catleaped, I ended up on her neck then the c*w proceeding to buck until she well and truly decked me. Even with a hat on my head was agony and I threw up, cue trip to A&E to be told what I already know mild concussion etc.

But today Im in so much pain, my entire right side is agony to move although my head feels a lot better. Does anyone have any remedies I can try?
I have a show on Fri-Sun, I should be ok as OH(whos fault it all is I maintain) has volunteered to ride youngsters Im just going to ride the ones who already know their job. Anyone been in this kind of situation before? And can anyone recommend a new hat for me now I have to find one? Bit bored of my old champions all the time lol.
Apologies for essay :D

Poor you, sounds like a nasty fall.
For concussion you need rest, and lots of it.
I don't think you should be riding again by the weekend, as during recovery from concussion even a mild blow to the head could easily be fatal (google for second impact syndrome). It is really not worth the risk.
I hope you are feeling better soon.
