Painting my horse?

Me and a friend are doing a sponsered ride and we want to paint some designs on our horses. We wee going to use face paint but thinging about it im not sure it'll apply to the fur very well or show up (a bay and a dun)

We were thinking maybe kids poster paints? or that sprey on/wash out hait dye? has anyone tried either of these? or have any good ideas?

Kids poster paint worked on my old dun & we did our coloured boys mane & tail orange & black at Halloween with coloured hairspray. It all washed out fine xx

cool, which did you find easyest out of interest? im leaning towards hair spray but think my friends horse might go through the roof :/

I used coloured hairspray on my mare to make special quarter marks, she was bay

We used miss paints in horses for a display at summer camp. All horses still standing. Have fun!

Both as easy as each other really - we used the hairspray to do a mane & tail, the poster paints we used to paint patterns on ponies bum!

ooo thats a bit cool oberon, although its a 12mile ride think chalk would sweat off.
