Hi
my dad just recently painted the walkway in between the stables, it was really slippy and one of my horses fell on it, it didnt have shoes on. the ones with shoes on were grand on it.
we went ahead and got non slip bitumen paint for the floor and now the horses with shoes on cantw alk on it without slipping, something needs to be done straight away,
does anyone have any ideas?
xx

We had the same problem where I used to work. They mixed sand or fine grit in with the paint. To make the surface rougher therefore easier to grip. It looks near enough the same as if you've used just paint, and is still find for sweeping etc. But the roughness just gives that wee bit grip to the horses.

Would think that paint on rubber would be harder to sweep. Where as paint with grit/sand is still easy. Recomment a straw broom from Robinsons.

Would try a little patch if you have any spare paint. Till you get the sand/paint concentration right.
