Currently my welsh D foal palomino has turned the colour of a cup of horlicks with golden nostrils, knees and hocks, he was a creamy gold as a foal then got a bit paler, had quite dark bits coming through when his foal coat started to fall out then his winter wool grew and he went the perfect colour to show up poo stains. Being I can't wait to see what colour will emerge from under the creamy / poo coat in the summer? Any ideas anyone??

Sounds pretty much like a farily normal colour / age progression for a fairly pale palomino.

Even though I did not purchase him until he was 18 months old, I have managed to collect a number of pics of Rin (aka Fourwinds Gethin my SPSS graded Welsh Section D palomino stallion) from foal onwards to now (4 years old) that show this sort of colour development so if you PM me your e-mail address I can send you some to see if they match -- and what you might expect to see in the next few months / years.
