Hallelujah from me too. I tell my friends that I don’t treat my dog as it doesn’t have fleas and, if the risk of tick disease is so great - why aren’t they putting humans on preventative drugs? Most of them still stick with the plan, often because they have signed up to some sort of monthly plan with the vets.

We are back to the ongoing questioning on this forum about big vet practices owned by venture capital firms. It seems to be more about profitability than the health of the animals, or the planet.

The last time my dogs were treated for fleas, was about nine years ago.

They are walked on the forest regularly.

They do pick up the odd tick here and there which I remove myself.

Scary how people are happy to put chemicals on their animals for literally no reason!
