This is an advert that dates back to December 2011 for ParK House on another forum I go on so price might be different now:-
"Small and friendly yard in Sidcup/Bexley area. Full livery service from Monday - Friday and DIY at weekends. Inclusive of all hay, feed & bedding. Excellent facilities on a well maintained yard. 40x20 rubber/sand mix school, fully floodlit & set of showjumps to use. Direct hacking into woods/forestry. Turnout is 1 - 2 in a paddock. Own instructors/farriers/vets etc are welcome. £100pw."
About 6/7 years ago I used to part loan a horse there but it has changed hands at least once since I've been there. It had a lovely large floodlit sand and rubber outdoor arena which I would have said was bigger than 40x20. The stables were large -most were round a courtyard and there were another 3/4 at the back. There was a tackroom, tearoom and toilet. It had an electric gaited entrance. The wood you can hack round a circular path for free but if you want to go into the forestry you have to buy a permit and key which you have to renew every year. Any other hacking involves going along a very busy main road with a 40mph speed limit.
The main yard is Parkhouse which is £100pw full livery in the week, and DIY at weekends. It has a lovely all-weather school which is not often used as the yard is fairly small. There is not a massive amount of grazing, but it is well managed by the yard so the fields are not bare.
Then there is Halcyon farm which sometimes gets called Parkhouse as its within the same gated area. That offers anything from DIY up to full livery and has a very basic sand school. It has more grazing than parkhouse but is up to liveries to maintain. I recently left this yard.
Both yards are behind key-coded electric gates (so are fairly secure) and have access to both Chalk and Joydens woods without any road work needed.
I was at Park House about 7/8 years ago and the school was built while I was there and it was lovely. I think it was one of the nicest yards in the area at the time but not sure about now. It was all very new and very smart and handy for the woods with no road work needed.
