You’re going to need to be a certain vintage to remember Parley Brook riding stables on the edge of Horsell / Knaphill in Surrey. I think it closed as a riding school in the early? 1980s. If anyone can remember the ponies and horses there I’d love to hear from you.
 
I remember Parley Brook well as an RS and then a livery yard (the latter which is still being used as), 'young' Richard still runs his horse transport trucks from there and the indoor stables are used for lairage by the likes of Gillies.
Mr C passed away a few years ago, Mrs C has moved but she's still around.

I should say, I was very little when my older sister went there for lessons - but I still occasionally see a horse now and think, where I have I seen a horse like that? Oh yes, parley brook…. Very formative horse memories. Whereabouts was your yard? Chobham?
