Hi was just wondering if anyone has used them and if you found them to be safe or any other feeding options that aren’t haynets that you have found to be safe Thankyou

We use Eazigrazer barrels. They are not perfect but we chose them after doing a lot of research, especially into safety, and they work well. We have 4 in the field shelter for 2 horses living out 24/7.
We didn't want something that the horses could stand in.
They look great for what I need them for actually what size do you have I prefer that there is no edges either xx

I used one for a while and was happy with it overall. You can fit loads of hay in there if your horse needs a lot. A couple of times I found it tipped up in the middle of the stable floor and suspect my horse must have had his foot in it. It's reasonably high though so I think he must have tried hard to do that and he obviously managed to get himself out again afterwards.

I also like hay cubes as they attach to a bracket on the wall so can't be dragged around the stable. They don't fit as much hay in as the hay saver but you can probably cram enough in for most horses. The flip side is they take up less space in the stable as the hay saver is massive!
