He looks Ok, nothing world beating but a nice enough type, looks very green which would go with the initial pictures and comments about muscle tone. I'm not terribly up on his breeding but wouldn't be paying that much for him based on that level of work done and schooling. A friend has a horse who has been out done some prelim and novice dressage (not come home without a rossette yet!), clear round xc and sj, schooling at home alot further on than him and I think they are only asking only a bit more than this one, Depending on what you want him for he looks a nice enough type, if you can get the price down he maybe worth it.

I think he looks a lovely but too expensive for what he's done. Saying that though if you really like him and you click with him when you ride him then he may well be worth it. It's hard to find something which is 'just right' for you and if he feels that, then I would haggle over the price, most sellers don't expect to get the asking price anyway.
Good luck!

Agree he is expensive but he looks a nice genuine sort of horse. Nice face, nothing staggeringly wrong and I imagine cleaned up and muscled up he will be lovely. He is a tad on the chunkier side so may not have that much speed / nippiness for eventing / showjumping but if you only want him to do local level and have some fun then he looks lovely (he would be my kind of horse if I was looking and if he was cheaper!)

It's what YOU think of him that matters most! However, the main thing is for you to sit on him. When you do, make sure you remember he's still a baby. When I bought my youngster her trot to canter transitions were woeful and she was very unfit, but she hacked out beautifully and her jump was a massive, careful spring, and that's what I bought her for.

I think this lad has a lovely eye and I think he's been started quietly and sympathetically, which counts for a lot. I paid not a lot less for my girl, though she was a little older and had a done a little more. Oh, and there was another rider who wanted her too! IF you like him, offer 3.5k and remind them it's very much a buyers' market.

let us know how it goes, very exciting!

I think from the pictures he has a kind eye and is quite a nice stamp.
But from the video i'm not at all keen on his movement (particularly behind!).

Think i'd keep looking.
