Hi everyone, the vet came today and xrayed my boy, he has been diagnosed with mild KS. The vet said i can have the injections into his back, or keep him going on abit of bute. He said if i want to ride him again, i must get him much fitter by doing lots of work on the pessoa and then to lunge him for 5 or 10 minutes before i ride him to loosen up his back, and he must have regular sessions with the back lady.

Basically i can just try my best to get him fit, and then try riding him again and see how he goes. The vet said he see some xrays and tells the clients NEVER to ride their horse again, and my boys were no where near that bad.

So i am going to give this a try over the Winter and see how it pans out. Thanks to everyone for their help and suggestions x :)

Good luck just remember if this is an insurance job that they will omly pay for 12 months from the first signs of prpblems.
So if you give it a try then still decide surgury is needed be careful to stick within the time!
