Part bred showing

Hi I am going to do a part bred showing class , I have never done one before and I was wondering if you had any advice or tips .i am doing the ridden part bred and it is at a local show

I have a gelding,chestnut four white socks .Also he is a welshxtrotter .

He is also 13.1 , best doing ridden or in hand part bred ?

Turn out to type, so either a SHP (mini hunter,tweed, plain bridle) or a SP ( finer pony often welsh/arab/tb mix, navy, ribboned browband)- all should be plaited, you will see unplanned pbs but to my knowledge it is not correct.

Keep it short and basic, see if you can find some other shows to spectate at or watch some YouTube videos.
