I have just bought a horsebox for my 13.1hh welshie. It is a converted ldv convoy and the internal area is 3m by 1.8m It was used to travel 3 mini Shetlands sideways. My boy will not fit sideways so will have to face forwards. I will leave the first partition in giving me some storage but this then leaves an area 2m long by 1.8m wide. Do I need to partition this? I will only travel him but do not want him to fall over. Is it too wide?
