I bought a 1984 VW LT35 not long ago and everyone told me parts are really easy to find. Well now I need a new cylinder head and camshaft (note to the world...always change your cam belt when you get a new horsebox...wish someone would've told me that a few months ago..) and can't find one for love nor money. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've tried websites like 247spares etc with no luck. I've started ringing round breakers yards but still no luck.
It's a diesel engine (2.4L) and the casting number is 072103373c. There's a petrol one on ebay but no sign of any diesel ones. If you could find one or point me in the right direction you'd be an absolute life saver. I've dreamed of having a horsebox for almost 20yrs now and it's died after a month
