I own an arab but have been reading alot about Pasa Finos and how different they are to ride. There is a place in Suffolk that does riding days but its a long way from me. Anyone know of anywhere in Yorkshire?

The Paso show was down near us a month or so ago, their gait really is interesting to watch. Anyway the chappie who did one of the Demo's at the show is based in Derbyshire (which is at least a little closer). They are apparently really good to ride if you have a back problem. Anyway, his partner has just bought a Paso, they may be able to help you, if you are interested please pm me.

If you want to try a gaited horse - why not have a go on an Icelandic. They tolt, which is a 4-beated running walk and they can tolt as slowly as a slow trot, or as fast as a gallop. They are so surefooted and they are great fun. I had an Arab for nearly 20 years and then bought an Icelandic (the grey in my siggy).
