Pasport question

Barons pasport does not have his name on it, nor does it have any previous owners name or my name on it. It has all his markings and his breeding (plus breeders name) on it and it is quite obvious it is definatly his pasport. Also the only record of jabs on it is since I bought him. Vet looked at passport when I got him and said it was ok, I didnt have a clue as its the first horse ive owned in 8 years so had never seen a passport before.

Is it ok not to have mine/his name on it or should I apply for a new one? Also if I do apply for a new one will all the jab records be wiped off? i only ask this as ive had to pay a fortune to start his jabs all over again.
 
Send it back to them and they will add your name and his name. I think by law you have to have your name put on it soon after purchase.
 
So I just send it with a letter stating I want my name and his name added or should I ring them first? Do you know if they usually charge for this?

I havent got the passport to hand as im at work but its a pale green one.
 
I think it's about 20 quid to get done. I havent a clue how you do it, it should say on the DEFRA website, or in the passport itself.

At least your has his description in it!

I am having a right fight with a passport issuing authority ATM, they issued a passport without any distinguishing features on the silhouette!
