Passed my trailer test on Wed 
I will be towing with my dad's defender! He currently has 3rd party insurance on it for him and my mum. It will cost a couple hundred quid to add me (doubles the insurance cost
) the trailer is insured separately on my horses policy.
However, I am fully comp on my car & therefore 3rd party on any other car I have owners permission to drive.
Am I missing something or do I not need to be on his policy to tow??
I did wonder if as my car obviously cannot tow (fiesta) that I couldn't tow anything else as towing would never be part of my own insurance? Have scrutinised my documents but can't see anything. I will check with insurers but am losing the will to live after being on hold for over 20mins several times and giving up without speaking to anyone
