Passport confusion

More confusion about the order of contents of pages and sections in the new passport regulations. Some PIOs are going to have their passports reprinted so do not be surprised if your passport takes longer than usual. DEFRA has said they want county of birth but the EU regulation says country of birth only. As some mares go to studs to be foaled and only return home after foal heat covering what point is the the knowledge that it was born in Suffolk and the keeper is in Oxfordshire. So do not be surprised if the passport is late

The whole passport thing is ridiculous. I wouldnt mind if it helped the horse but i believe its all part of a long term scheme for defra to get more money by introducing the horse tax. complete waste of time

Don't think you are far wrong with the Horse tax idea teddyt, always suspected something like it on the cards.
