Passport issues

When we went to pick up new pony the owner said they had forgotten the passport but would be out to visit in a few weeks so would bring it. Had pony 2 months next week and still not got a passport and owner hasnt returned any messages about sending it.

Will I just get the vet out for a new passport or can I get a replacement?

well you'd need to know where the original one came from first and not sure they'd give another if the previous owner hasn't sent off the paper work! sounds like they were a bit dogdy! did they even have one for him?

is he microchipped? might be able to get some info about him from that?

As far as I know they do have one for her, not sure why the reluctance to pass it on tbh.
