A few months ago we brouoght a little 2yr old and her passport is with the Gypsy Cob society- the breeder had all his horses done with this society and randomly picked names for each.

We want to change the owners details, the ponys name-Star doesnt really fit as she doesnt have a star! And her colour is wrong!!

We dont really know anything about the Gypsy Cob Society nor do they have a website, so dont want to send money off it they arent a legal passporting agency!!

Also if they are a passport agencey then could we change the passport to a part Bred Welsh one with the Welsh pony and Cob Society?? As we have her breeding info.

If anyone can shed any light on this it would be much apprectiated! Thankies xx

i think they do have a website as friend was looking on it the other day as she has just brought a horse with a gypsy cob passport

They are a passport agency and genuine.

I recently had to get Chancer's passport changed - he has a BSPA one. He was down as a piebald. They were able to change him to a skewbald, but not his name from What a Chance to Quite by Chance due to DEFRA rules.
