So if you have to send the original off to a society to be stamped, where do you stand if you are still out competing and get pulled over by the police?

First rule with post and people sometimes not being quite as conscientious as they should be now is

always make a photocopy/scan of each and every page before you send and always send as 'signed for' to be on the safe side!

Just to be smug, I've always done this, nothing to do with having to produce it, they just cost too damn much if it should get lost! Not only would you have to pay for a duplicate, you'd also have to start flu/tet jabs all over again too!

As long as you can quote the PIO and the Passport (UELN)number you should be OK
