Passports

I recentley bought a horse from a dealer. When the dealer imported him she had the horse passport agency out to do identification for his passport and they put him at 6 years old.

My vetting put him as a 5 year old and another vet also looked last week and confirmed this. So i would like his passport to reflect this in case i come to sell him etc.

What are the chances of me getting the age on the passport changed?? I would send a copy of my vetting showing that he is 5. I would also like his name changed.

Phone whoever issued the passport and see if they can accomodate you.

if the animal is only 5/6 then it should have imported with a passport.......

get back to dealer and ask why it hasn't got one from it's country of origin

She bought him from Ireland as Chestnut gelding and that was pretty much it, she had him assessed over here for age etc
