hello! i have decided i would like to enter the world of showing with my gelding but his breeding is unregistered, i was just wondering if there is anything i could get him registered under that doesnt require breeding? he is a 2 year old and currently around 14hh, very much a hunter type but not the hight

he has a. passport but it’s just a pet id one x

Unless it's a breed specific class you won't need breeding in passport, even at the highest levels Show Ponies, SHPs, hunters, riding horses, hacks don't have to have registered breeding so I wouldn't worry about it.

This you just register with the showing organisation you wish to show under.

what sort do you think he would suit the best? ive had him in a youngstock class today but that’s all we’ve done so far, x

That's all you can really show him as for now- sport horse youngstock maybe. He doesn’t really look a particular type so you'll have to see what he looks like at 4 and go from there if you want to continue showing
