Following on from my thread about selling our pony she has now been diagnosed with vasculitis. She has swelling around her fetlock extending up her leg. She has to have antibiotics and anti imflammatories and rest. I had a search earlier today and wonder if it could be linked to her vitiligo. She is losing the pigment in her skin around her eyes and muzzle. I am wondering if these conditions are linked and if sunlight is a factor. The inflamed leg is her only white foot, although she is grey. The vet did say steroids would be of use but given her history of laminitis we are not trying that option at the moment. Would be really interested to hear of any ones experiences??
