Thought people might be interested in this FREE event/talk being run by Natural England, by the Catchment Sensitive Farming Officer, Emma Wood. It's on Equine Pasture and Yard Management: aimed at all those keeping horses from one horse to livery yards. Workshop to advise of positive pasture and yard management to reduce risk of diffuse water pollution/ legislative and regulatory requirements for the land owner/manager. Also grassland management re stock density, field compaction, poaching and infield feeders/drinkers, manure management, and other general advice!

All with a free buffet!

Please note, I'm not affiliated with this - just had a farm/holding review as I'm in a nitrate vulnerable zone in Kent, and the advisor told me about this event, which I thought might be of interest to HHO peeps in Kent.
14th November, 1830hrs, nr Maidstone, venue to be advised.
Please book in advance on 0300 0601695 ref EWS69

If anyone wants a poster to put up in their local tackshop/feed merchants/riding club or more information please email emma.wood@@@naturalengland.org.uk
