Recently bought my own field (yay). I've never had responsibility for the maintenance before, can anyone recommend a good book / web site so I can learn as much as possible.
Always been at places where maintenance was lacking, so would like to see how it should be done ☺

Your best bet would be to befriend a local farmer who knows the land and the soil type and copy what they do- local knowledge is invaluable.
Personally I would start with a soil analysis and go from there

The equicentral website regarding the equiculture system.

https://www.equiculture.net

They do have books on.thr subject too. My mum went to one of their talks (with dad who's a farmers son so clued up) and was very impressed. This system is how they are managing their grazing now

Thanks all, helpful places to start.
Localfarmers not much use for information here as they are more interested in high yield cattle grazing, but are happy to harrow / roll for a small charge ☺
