I have two acres and two horses. The fields are very soggy at the moment. The two horses are sharing a paddock whilst the other one is empty. Both look horrific. They're great at trashing them. I hate to keep them in and they hate it too. Does anyone have any top tips for rotation/management so that come the spring they still have enough grass yet can enough stretching their legs in winter as well? Or am i just panicking - does the grass always come back!

IME the grass always comes back!
How about splitting both fields in 2 with electric fencing so you have 4 paddocks & rotate them?
