Josie and I went off to Patchetts on Sunday for the AF, had to get out of bed at 4.00am which is just not funny at all

She is an absolute drama queen normally and this was her first championship show, so I really had no expectations other than possibly some high spirits and rodeo antics

Anyway, she was a star, totally chilled out and not at all phased by the whole experience. She did a very nice, calm test in the N22 AF class for 64.56%, which I was thrilled with. For a long time we stayed in 3rd place, but ended up 9th after a spate of nice tests, all just 1-2% above us though, and missed out on prizegiving by a fraction of a mark which was very frustrating!
Then did the N33, which I totally cocked up, having not eaten or drunk anything since 4am I had total brain failure and went wrong twice

as well as totally over riding a medium canter and making her change behind. In absolute shock to get to the scoreboard and find 61.37%

depite six marks deducted for error of course and a mark of 3 for the med canter I cocked up!

Very very happy, it was the culmination of our novice season, off to elem permenantly now!

Very Well done to you!! Excellent results ... the early mornings now are not fun eh??!!! Dark and cold!! But obviously well worth the effort!
