Both are running a Derby House winter Novice qualifier, Towerlands on the Saturday, entries in advance, and Patchetts on the Sunday, entries on the day. Which will be more insanely busy? Towerlands is a lot further for me but I don't really mind. I'm not under any illusion that I'll qualify, but REALLY want to get out. Any insights appreciated

Hmm I'm not sure...Towerlands may be viewed as the better place because of facilities so may more go there? Some people are going to both ! I'd venture to Patchetts and hope for the best

Guess it's quite astute of Patchetts to accept entries on the day when running the day after, that way all the ones who were sure they'd qualify at Towerlands will bomb down the road to them and try there! Sounds like waaay too much effort to me! Or I could just be incredibley boring and go jumping at Patchett's fortnightly show on the Monday....

Patchetts always accept on the day, not been BSJA there but if unaffliated is anything to go by then it will be busy!! and the last thing you want is to park over the bridge!! not been to Towerlands but know its a better venue but will probably busy to I am guessin!

There is no such thing as running on time with BSJA entries on the day. It starts when it starts and ends when it ends......

we are off to towerlands on the sunday..never been to patchetts so cant comment on that ...do know that entries for towerlands close today, i had to email my entries as didnt leave enough time to post although at a push could have hand delivered them as only 15 miles away...if you do decide on towerlands then email an entry today! often pop over to bsja events at towerlands and they are always busy so will probably be busy saturday to
