Patey Hat Cleaning

Hi guys quick question how you guys best clean the inside of your Patey hat.

Mine is sweaty and smelly from long days of hunting so whats the top tips?????????

Charles Owen do a really good hat cleaner - spray it in and it gets rid of the worst grease.

Mine took a dip a couple of seasons ago and smelt awful so I washed it gently, put some talc on it and then stuck a pantyliner to my head to absorb the moisture - it almost didn't come off of my head and was a decidedly stupid idea. Nuff said.

It wasn't one of my better ideas and I feel it would have been better received if I had realised to sanitary towel was still stuck to my head when I took the patey off...it took several minutes and a few odd looks.
