Me and a friend are heading to London tomorrow, going to Patey as her OH bought her a new one for Christmas...lucky lady!

Just a small dilemma.....I went to Patey years ago, it was in East Dulwich. Now, that is where I was heading tomorrow, just checked their website to see where the nearest tube was to work out train times and it's telling me to go to Marble Arch - is this where I want to go?!

Confused....don't like the city at the best of times!

Thanks! x

Funnily enough I was just reading my Badminton Life magazine and saw a Patey ad saying that they have a new shop in Connaught Street, which is indeed not far from Marble Arch tube station. It's just up the Edgeware Road and left - do a printout of a map and you'll be fine!

although I have just noticed that you are there today, so unless you all teched up with an iphone you won't read this!

We were there today, it was dead easy to find....funny though, the man in there was seriously unimpressed when we walked in, had obviously decided we were time wasters - he actually apologised for his coldness once he found out he was dealing with a whip and a secretary......not two divs......:)

LOL don't you just hate people that do that. Hope you had a good fitting.

I have seen at first hand, this last season, a certain secretary almost blank somebody who tried to engage them in conversation. A little later the Sec made enquires of the individual and discovered that they were a) loaded b) had a title and c) knew more about hunting than all of us put together.

She rode over to the person and said, "I am most terribly sorry if I seemed abrupt, I did not realise who you where".

The reply, "does it make any difference".

That was the end of the conversation!
