I thought it was 400/500. OH wants to get measured up, does the place at Cirencester still do the measurements, if not can you get measured at Badminton? Doesn't really fancy going all the way to London!
They are based in East Dulwich and are in a tiny side street. The place is like steping back in time! Went there to get my husband's top hat and a new beagler.
I thought I might have a new one but nearly choked when the guy told me it was £400 for a basic one. Bought one of the peg from Frogpool instead!
I'm sure you can arrange to meet them at places like Badminton where they will measure you and then make a hat to fit.
Their place in cirencester is open by appointment. Didnt think they were as much as £400 (bought one a couple of years ago). They also advertised in the H&H show numbers which shows they were going to be at this year.
i saw one for £40 in a charity shop in london, immaculate condition and seemed to fit... perhaps i'll go back to se if it's still there and snap it up! hadn't realised just how expensive they were!!
The PY which is the high crown beagler is £375. Paul fitten me up at Myerscough & then we had a re-fit/tweak at Bramham as he had a stand there. Well worth the money & fit lovely!!!
He has just upped his prices so they are now just over the £400 mark I think. I have such an appalling memory - so all I can remember for sure is that they are over £400 now!

Even if it is not an exact fit but very close would be worth buying & then going & seeing them as they can be re moulded to a certain degree to make them fit.
FMM - glad I got mine last year then!!!
I would also recommened if you do buy one to get the hat jack. I bought one of ebay for £12 & it really saves your hat from losing its shape.
Paul stretched mine for me at Thirlestane even thought it isn't a Patey - he said he'd do it for nothing "because he knew i'd come back and buy a top hat from him" hmmm we'll see!!
