Patterdale vs cat

Oh dear, my pat had a fight with a huge ferral Tom cat yesterday. I think he came off worse than the cat but he's got scratched all over his face. Eyes are ok luckily and this morning not too much swelling. Do you think a trip to the vets tomorrow or wait and see?

Bathe in salt water, apply some Terramycin spray, and then wait and see! He's a terrier, battle scars tend to be viewed as medals!

Thanks, yes he's a toughie. Got ran over by a car last year and walked away then looked at me as if to say are we going for a walk or not?

If you take a Patterdale to the vets, you'll ruin his street cred! Just dunk him in dettol and tell him to man up.

As a pup my patterdale chewed through the vacuum wire, whilst it was running Cue my cleaner running up the hall to me hysterical saying 'come quick - Coco'. I couldn't take the scene in as it looked to me like he had swallowed the plug - the live wire was fixed in his mouth and he was peeing and pooing and thrashing about on the floor horrific - stupidly I touched him and got a belt and then switched the plug off (cleaner's hubby is an electrician too - thought she would have flipped the plug switch!).

I took Coco to the vet's for that -hubby said have him pts if there is any chance his guts are fried Actually he survived unscathed Terriers are more than resilient!

Haha! Love the pat survival stories. Well this morning he looks like nothing ever happened. No wounds, no swelling nothing!!
