Very interesting. I’d love to go to Pau. Or Maryland for that matter!

Interesting to see Ben Bobday back on Shadowman. I thought he’d sold him at first.

I guess we’re all watching to see how Ros and Izilot go on at a smaller event.

I'm pretty sure shocked that Ben, who hasn’t evented the horse since he fell off at Badminton in 2022, is entered for the 5*. Ben himself has had 4 Intermediate runs this year back in May. Shadow Man hasn’t been anywhere since Paris with Chris and will have been ridden in a very different way. It doesn’t feel like the smart choice?

I mean he’s not known for being… humble. Not the right word exactly but something like that. Lol.

I hope it goes well for him though!

Completely agree. Bizarre.

Apparently Ben did jump round the 4*S at Ligniers last weekend (and came 10th)
I still think it's a bit of an odd move.

It’s a bit like jumping on the band wagon. Won’t look good if he doesn’t do well after he went so well for Chris. But… if I’d seen someone else having a fabulous, successful time on my horse that I’d not ridden for a while I might be tempted to get back on, I guess.

I hope BMC wins Maryland. Just an absolute warrior of a legend and deserves it.

Ben and Shadowman did very well this weekend- 2nd in a 4*. I know I was a bit sceptical, but actually it’s good seeing the horse out again, he’s so talented. And Ben too, he put a lot of work into him.

I hope they have a great run (despite my initial skepticism too)

Maybe Scotty has overcooked it a bit?! I’m enjoying the course but hope everyone makes it home safe.

ETA not that I’d jump any of those fences - should have said I’m enjoying watching it so far.
Some of them just are not that good… 60% clear rate for last 10 runs for Cosby horse.
Felt sorry for Lindsay Traisnel as looked like hold impacted her mentally.
