Pau - what do I need to know?

Hubby booked a hotel for Pau today! Very excited, even though it'll take nine hours to get there :eek:

Anyone who's been got any handy hints? Anything I need to know? Soooper excited!
 
Went last year - had a great time. Much smaller than 4* events here though. If the weather is anything like last year, take sunscreen - I nearly melted in the sj, but was cold at start of the day! Hope you have a great trip - I wish we were going back!
 
Are you hiring a car if you have a free day travel out to the mountains spectacular! Event is fantastic don't expect massive shopping but you can get a lot closer to the action than in the UK (well less people)
 
Will definitely let you know how it goes. Perhaps for the best that there's not too much shopping - always go a bit mad at Badminton :o

We are going in the car as we live in France and are taking the dog with us.

Have started practising a special HHO woop woop for Tiger Eye :D

See you there Zacinto! JCWhite, I hope it is a bit drier - the dog is going to get pretty muddy otherwise and hubby will not be happy about his car :rolleyes:
 
I am sure you will have a top trip what ever the weather is doing, make time to go and see the city and the views of the mountains beyond, and a report on here too!
