i should hang fire- its a big item for a courier, give it a couple of days then get in touch again, if no replies ebay will sort it for you, dont despair!

I think I would be inclined to open a dispute on Ebay, since the seller has declined to respond to any of your contact attempts.
Ebay will message the seller, informing them of the dispute and will probably freeze the sellers Paypal account. The Ebay disputes process operates very much in favour of the buyer so you should see a response quite quickly.

I'd add that I wouldn't bother opening the dispute through ebay - open it through paypal instead. I've had no end of trouble with the dispute I opened through ebay - took them over 2 weeks to review the case and then I had to spend 9 hours on the phone in a queue to get my refund processed.

Having gone through paypal previously and had no problem, I would recommend the latter.

I agree with Rosie though, leave it till Monday before doing anything - maybe send one more email today saying that you have tried to contact them twice before and, unless you receive a response, you will open a dispute. Most sellers would understand that the buyer can get a little nervous after going so long without communication!

They get 10 days in which to come to an agreement between them. After that time if there is no joy, you can open a case. But I think you need to wait a couple of days, it's only been one day over the estimated delivery time, and it is estimated. I agree the seller should respond, but I sometimes forget to check my e-mails so could be an innocent mistake. :)

I'm in the same dilemma... Ordered a rug on the 9th Sept, paid by cheque which cleared about 2 weeks ago... Still no rug?!

I've had responses from the seller though, but only confirming address etc.

I'll give it another week.

The first bad experience I've had on eBay, normally it's an easy smooth process.

Did you pay with an E-cheque?
