Gareth McCombe won the individual open showjumping championships on his grey horse

he also won the open Dengie winter sj finals this year! He really deserves it - he is a fantastic rider and coaches the games teams

So Iveagh have another showjumping championship to their name

I just wish the eventers were as successful

Shame that people didn't hand around to applaud the winner of the intermediate SJ champs on the lap of honour. Would be pretty upsetting to ride out and realise that everybody had wandered off.
