PC quiz

Pony Club Quiz is less than 2 weeks away - may not be one of the most exciting events for people with their own ponies but at our RS it's quite a big thing because it's something we can do well at without posh ponies, spending loads of money etc.

So, help please. Can anyone tell me any or all of the felt colours you get for your PC badges? any other random trivia about the PC, particularly stuff we'd be unlikely to know because we don't do ridden PC competitions or have our own ponies etc.

If you have time just randomly quiz me on any horsy things, not just PC related, also post pics of famous riders as one of the rounds is a pic round where you have to recognise who they are.

These are the rounds of the quiz for the final but last yr they were different for the area comp so that could happen again:

Geographical Round
Practical Round
Wildlife
The Pony Club
Musical Round
April Fool/Health & Safety
Picture Round

In the area competition last year there were also rounds on history of the PC and PC disciplines.

So basically if you can be bothered/are bored, quiz me!

we used to have to put a bridle together as fast as possible!

lol wow it's all coming back (but that was years ago so might be better listening to someone younger!)

Felts are:
Yellow = D
White = D+
Green = C (must have passed riding and road safety to do C test)
Pink = C+
Brown = B care
Red = B riding
Not sure about A

They used to have someone come along and play different Bugle sounds and you had to put down what they meant.


I can't remember what they are now though so not much help sorry!

Don't rmemeber there being much about hunting - possibly because the PC has to be "neutral" re hunting to some extent now it's "banned"

Have you not got the pony club quiz book? the first is better than the 2nd- but both are excellent preparation for the quiz
