Hi, I'm thinking about putting a pea gravel track in, can someone tell me how deep it should be and what size of pea gravel to get? 10mm? or smaller?

The bigger the better.
If it is to small it gets into the soles of your shoes and rtreads inside.
if you are going to use it for horses then they will tread it away by it getting into their feet.

The gravel needs to be small (max 14mm) and rounded, not sharp so it moulds to and supports the hoof. A whole pea gravel track can get very expensive but even making an area on a track works well too. Horses tend to gravitate to it so you might make that area wider than the track if you do this.
