Hello everyone.

My mum owned a horse, a long long time ago... I was in love with that boy!

His pedigree seemed quite 'exotic' to me, apart from the fact that his dam had given two approved thoroughbred sons for warmblood breeding programs: Bream and Freeman.

I would like to know which horses are related to him. Could you, if possible, send me pictures of his relatives? I'd be thrilled to see them!

Here's his pedigree:

Thanks!

The only thing I have found so far is a half brother to New Mills called Apple Wine. He was foaled in 77 and raced 15 times, placed 5 times. Here is the link to the racing post details http://www.racingpost.co.uk/horses/racing_horse_form.sd?horse_id=12910
I'm not registered with the weatherbys database, which is where you are sure to find all the details you require. Unlikely you will find pics though

Ruffino had 10 foals which all raced. 8 of them won and 3 of those were "black-type winners". Ruffino herself won 3 races and was placed 3rd in Prince of Wales' stakes at York in 1962. Her first foal was Australian bred in 1965 so she was well travelled!
Apple Wine actually raced 169 times! winning 24 races and placed 12 times. He first ran at 2 years and last ran at 12 years (under rules). I don't have details of whether he raced as a point-to-pointer in addition to these.

If you pm me an email address, I will send you a record of the family race details.

Sorry, but I can't help with photographs.
