Been to horses this morning and after the usual greeting our 17 yo does her customary pee as a greeting. Had to grin as she only managed to squeeze a few drops out but bless she was determined to say hello in her own style
Haven't quite trained her to let me catch it in a bucket but I am working on it!

My chap pees's in a bucket every evening after he has had his dinner and if I have ridden him in the afternoon, he will pee straight after the ride too.

My old pony used to eat his dinner, take himself out of his stable, find a patch of grass, have a pee and then take himself back to his stable quite happily and 9 times out of 10 you'd have a dry stable in the morning - used to worry about him holding himself all night but vet always said not to worry. He lived till he was 32 so obviously did him no harm!

Mine when stabled will have a pee every morning once he's clocked my car coming through the gate and is all straddled ready to go by the time I walk to his stable door looking very pleased with himself :D. I only worry that he's been hanging on for hours though I have a regular routine and arrival time! He's a joy in a stable actually normally as he does all his droppings in one pile alongside the partition just in front of his bed. V tidy and helpful!

My two live out and nearly every time I go one of them will wee as I am walking across the field to them. May be its just the excitement of seeing me!!!!......mor like foods on its way

I started catching Mollie's pee in a bucket if I happened to be around when she peed in her stable (usually on a nice fresh bed). But I noticed she didn't like it and started "holding it back" mid stream to avoid the bucket treatment.

I got a bit worried I might be giving her "issues" or it could be bad for her bladder so now I just grumble at her for drenching her nice clean bed instead.
