I am writing this on behalf of a friend.

Is a swales pelham or a sam marsh pelham any good for a very strong lightweight coloured for the show ring?
She has a very small mouth with a large tounge. She also rides with her mouth open!

Any ideas please?!?!

a sam marsh wont be any good if the horse has a small mounth!! it has a very wide mouthpiece.it wont help with the open mouth issue at all. just out of interest but do you know why she has her mouth open? has she had the teeth checked??

You mite want to try a Mors le'Hotte? I think that is the spelling or the gist of the spelling! It has a exagerated mullen mouth but the underneath is cut away for the tongue. will go and geek and try and find a picture.

The horse in question actually had her teeth done about 6 weeks ago, shes just come back from a break (about 9 months), and she was like this before she went away as well, we were all hoping she would come back calmer shes been on regumate also talked about putting marble in her lady parts as well, she is now on an equine america calmer which is helping off the ground but the problems are still there when ridden, to be honest, me and her owner have talked and talked about her problems and i actually wonder if the problem could be jaw related or something to do with her nose, it is almost like she is trying to run away from whatever her problem is, think that some professional help will be required shortly - but any more suggestions????

Please ......
