Pelham/double reins with running martingale??

Im showing my horse at the weekend in a pelham and double reins. Shes been going nicely but CAN get a bit reactive so im using a runnning martingale to keep my face intact lol! so far iv been using the martingale on the snaffle rein but im now thinking it might stop her throwing her head in my face if i put it on the curb rein?? opinions please??....

I wouldn't. Despite being incorrect for showing, mine would be more inclined to clock me in the face that way.

I would prefer to use a standing martingale with a pelham if preparing for showing purposes but feel that if the horse is objecting that much with only a few days to go I would be looking at changing the bit as it cannot be shown in the martingale and may be worse at the show than at home.
