Hellooo,

As title really just wondered if anyone had used these pellets before? have found a company that do them in 1/2 ton bags for £75 and apparently they work similar to wood pellets only you dont have to water them? you need about 80kilos to start a bed then 10-20 a week to keep it going! Would love to hear from someone who has actually used them though!

thankies

Poo, was hoping someone had tried it! And sorry yes this was a shameless way of getting my post moved up to the top again SORRY :-)

have tried to email them. failed. they are just up the road from me. will phone for a sample bag and let you know. i did trial some straw pellets for someone near alcester (not same address tho) and didnt like them, bed looked dark and poohy before a horse had poohed in it!!! and was concerned at the colic risk should they eat them. if i loose track of this thread pm me in a week when hopefully they will have dropped a bag off to me to try!!

phoned them today, it is the same people that i trialed for so interested to know how they have changed the product. waiting for the chap to phone me back and to get a trial bag. will let oyou know what i think.

I've got a sample coming on Saturday! The chap did say something about colour but apparently they are trialling elephant grass or something? The line was failing so couldn't really understand, hopefully get some more answers on Saturday!
