pelvise trouble!!!!

hey, has anyone had a horse that has put its pelvise out? if so wen can u start proper work after its been put back in? got it put back in about 3 months ago but nt sure wen it was put out.
any help will be good thank u

My mare had a pelvis injury this winter - did the splits in the mud while running like a loon. She was on box rest for one week with metcam, with hand walking for that week 2x a day. Then the following week started doing straight line work on driveway, still on box rest. She was allowed to go back out after that, but as it was really icy on the walk between stable and field, I opted to keep her in as I didn't want to re-injur with a slippy walk. In total she was on box rest for about 3-4 weeks and gradually built up her work, but i was working her 2x a day -- even if the morning session (before I had to go to work) was just a leg stretch in the school for 15-20 minutes.

Meanwhile, she still seems a bit off (not unlevel or unsound, but just can see it when she moves a wee bit). So will have chiro out soon methinks
