People with chickens again

Hi.

Whats the best thing to worm chickens with?
Also wheres the best place to get it and in what dosages?

I've read abut so many and i'm just getting confused

My vet gave me a Panacur solution and some syringes to measure the dose. Can be a bit dodgy trying to hold the hen down with one hand....open its beak.....and get the syringe with ALL the solution down its throat ...not shaken all over you or on the floor without crushing the hen to death in the process!!! Best done with a helper I found!! Have fun!

You can get flubenvet from most ag. merchants, you mix it with their feed, or get some panaccur drench and mix it with their water although i'm not sure of the dose.

We used Panacur as well BUT you have to becareful as with some wormers, you can't eat the eggs for the period during worming and for about a week or two afterwards. We couldn't with the Panacur but I think you can with the Fluben (sp?) one. Check to make sure.

We did drench ours with vecoxan sheep drench when the got coccidiosis which worked well too
