There has been a sudden and dramatic change in Lil's temperament. If it was down to hormones and her coming into season how long would you expect it to last?

Have put her onto Oestress to see if it helps but no luck so far.:(

Possibly a bit like us? Maybe as long as her season lasts...
Not really certain tbh as our mare tends to act hormonal most of the time!
She is in season now and for about a week before she started acting up so we shall see how long it lasts with her :) I hope the Oestress has helped? I've heard good reviews about it.

My mare was very hormonal the first spring and summer with us and pretty much moody all the time but this settled as she trusted us and pain issues were sorted out.

Last summer she was still a bit hormonal in season which lasted 5-7 days every 2-3 weeks but usually she was worst when coming into season and for first day or two but it differs from mare to mare.

I found a bachs flower mix by a herbalist helped and changing her feed on advice from feed specialist to something that didnt irritate her sensitive tummy - the latter made a huge difference as it was more her tummy making her irritable then her hormones!!

I was going to try oestress this year as heard alota bout it but have only noticed two seasons so far which passed easily. She is also on a herbal mix for joints which has calming and soothing properties so maybe you could go down the herbal route xx
