I have an early 80's model (rice) which needs a new set of tyre... has anyone had to replace theirs? The ones on mine are quite old, and I am worried that there wont be a suitable replacement for them

My trailer is about 17 years old (had it from new) we had some new tyres on it last month they were normal size trailer tyres no problem getting them at all

cheers, the bloke at the tyre place didnt seem very confident! I know the tyres are larger that what you see on modern trailers, but i didnt think there would be that much trouble getting hold of some. need them for this weekend

My rice trailer is even older than yours, its reckoned to be from the 60s. I've had it for the last 16 years and had it refurbished but apparently it had been refurbished before I got it probably having wooden sides originally! I have the really large tyres and managed to find a tyre dealer who ordered some for me. I have since been told that landrover tyres will fit the wheels.

I have an old Bahill trailer and we've replaced the tyres a few times. My partner has just phoned around 'off the shelf' scrapyards and tyre places. We've had to hunt them down a bit but we've always found them.
Good luck!

My rice is 25 & last year had new all round, they are a standers sise caravan - trailer size! £110 for 5, all 4 + spare.
