Horse is footsore but really don’t want to shoe. I think i’ve sorted the problem as to why she’s worn her feet down, but need something to help until they grow again. She’s retired and lives out with access to stable. The other alternative is boots?
(sorry multiple posts but forum is still playing up for me).

Boots would be much easier in your circumstances, or glue on Easyboot shells/similar - I think Scoots now do a glue on shell, too. PHW is designed as a short term fix and I think I'm right in saying it comes under the Farriers Act and therefore you'd need to have the farrier apply it each time, which would be costly if it's every week or so (I don't know how hard wearing they are).

WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING? :D

I don't know the ones you are asking about- but one of mine has been wearing Easyboot Sneakers 24/7 - they fit well, haven't rubbed at all, and she does some startling 'moves' in them with confidence.

Sorry, copied and pasted off Google ?

Will have a look at those. Boots for most of the time would be perfect.
